At birth a buffalo calf weighs about fifty pounds. A full grown adult bull can weigh around 2000 pounds. Cows (female buffalo) average around 1,000 pounds. A full grown bull is about six feet tall. They are known as a the hunters formidable foe and live in large herds upto a thousand of them at a time.

The African Elephant can grow up to 13 feet high at the shoulder and can weigh over six and a half tons. The longest tusk of an African Elephant measured 11ft. 11/4 inches. The heaviest tusk weighed 226 lb. Elephants live in herds of up to 50 animals. The herd is led by an old female.

The Rhino is native to Asian and Africa. There are two species, the white and black rhinos. The color refers to the color of the Rhinos' lips and not the color of the animal. The white rhino is also twice as large and has a hump on its back. African rhinos also have two horns and the Asian ones only have one. Both are found to be on the verge of extinction. Rhinos grow to become 3.8 meters long and 1.5 meters tall at the shoulder. They can weigh up to 3600 pounds. Both the males and the females have horn. They also tend to live 40-45 years in captivity. Rhinos live in groups of up to 13.
